About me

Margaret Pic

Margaret Yu has been on staff with the Campus Ministry of CCC since 1985. Since that time, Margaret has served on the campuses of Marquette Univ. in Milwaukee, Univ. of CA in Irvine, Univ. of California in Berkeley, and various colleges in Tashkent, Uzbekistahn. God has called her to various places in missions as well; she has been to Manila, Hong Kong, East Asia, the Former Soviet Union, and Mexico City. Starting 1986, she served as a local campus director for various campuses until 1996. From 1996 to 2,004, Margaret served as a Regional Director in the Campus Ministry in the region of the Pacific Southwest (Arizona, Hawaii and California campuses).

In 2004, God called Margaret to resign from the travels and the demands of the regional director role to become a full time legal guardian to her special needs nephew, Kevin. From 2004 to 2007, Margaret served as an HR specialist in the region as she transitioned into being a single guardian parent. Kevin has been living with Margaret since then and is progressing well in his independence.

In 2007, the National Director of the National Epic Movement challenged Margaret to be the Epic National Director of Leadership Development and HR for Epic, a focused campus ministry reaching out to the 1 million plus Asian American students in the USA. In a span of 2 plus years, the National Epic Movement has grown from 22 to 70 staff/interns and is now on over 37 campuses across the nation.

Margaret’s passions are character and leadership development. Her desires are to see God raise up the next generation of Asian American students and staff who will impact their campuses, communities and the world. God is doing something wonderful via the National Epic Movement.

Margaret invites you to be a part of her team via prayer or financial giving as the Lord leads.
